Something I’ve noticed is that a majority of Gen-Z is breaking this taste aesthetic especially in social media with there pop art-esq messy aesthetic that breaks all the rules of what we are “supposed” to do with the online art.
I’m obsessed with the Ratatouille, “anyone can cook” analogy in here, I remember you talking about this one so excited to see it in print! And love your take on how developing taste can become a mind prison that keeps you from openly experiencing things as they are.

Curious what you think of this, but I believe in the 2010s the trend of "normcore" surfaced. The look was wearing khakis, "corporate" button down shirts, white t's, and like, Sauconys or Brooks sneakers. High socks (before they became a cool GenZ thing)
I can't decide whether this is mostly offensive to the millions of people who dress this way, or a loving tribute?? lol
